Morgan Greenstreet plays music that moves bodies. As a drummer, he has toured and recorded extensively with Karikatura, Zongo Junction and others. As a music journalist and radio producer, he has written for NPR and produced for Afropop Worldwide, a Peabody Award-winning media organization devoted to African popular music. As modrums he spins eclectic vinyl sets, from konpa to cumbia, soukous to mbaqanga, sharing the music of Africa and the African diaspora. He's half of the NYC-based champeta party Terapia & Verbena with DJ Elkin Pautt and the #ZonaLibre party and podcast with dj tres dos.
